DONATELLA’S BACK
We first saw her as the 16-year-old spendaholic star of Young, Posh & Loaded in 2000, but Donatella Valentina is now older, wiser…and penniless! 2004 saw a New ITV show, Young, Posh & Penniless follows her as she gets to work at the Roll Inn Motel, a truck drivers’ stop over and café in Widnes.
During her ten days there, Donatella is expected to peel potatoes, waitress and clean the bedrooms and men’s loos. And, at the end of each long, working day, she lives with the motel owners. Typically feisty, Donatella was undaunted by the prospect, saying, “I’ll be fine, I’m not afraid of hard work and I like a challenge.”
Since gracing our screens in 2000, Donatella’s vibrant personality, intelligence (she achieved top grades on her Journalism & TV Course at the London College of Journalism) and a healthy dose of hard work have helped her to begin realising her dreams of a career in TV presenting and acting. She has presented several times for GMTV as a fashion correspondent though out 2004. Guest presented on ITV’s Loose Women.
Donatella has put her celebrity status to good use by doing her bit for charity – she took part in the SKY ONE show Celebrity Fear Factor with her share of the winnings being donated to the NSPCC. Donatella was also in the winning team in the Celebrity Netball tournament which raised money for breast cancer charities.
2005 has already seen Donatella feature as miss January in the Children in Need calendar and become a regular on Chelsea TV. 2005 also sees Donatella taking part in Celebrity 4 go dating.
Donatella has recently taken part in a new US Fitness Video with renouned Fitness and Nutrition guru Charles Wahlheim, due for release in Jan 2006.
With further presenting and acting projects in the pipeline this Greek Goddess is really going places. Expect to see a lot more of her!
